    Very good
    7.0

Unique charm from its historic architecture, with character in every corner. The decor feels intentionally cozy and welcoming, making it a pleasant spot to relax after a long day.

Parking is a real issue. while claimed to be free, it’s limited and gets snatched up fast, forcing us to find an alternative. The narrow entrance to the car park can be a real puzzle for anyone with a wider vehicle. My room had a snug bathroom that felt a bit cramped—something I expect from a historic building but still not ideal. Noise from the bustling street outside was bothersome at times, even with earplugs provided. requesting a room towards the back looks to be a smarter move.

    excellent breakfast variety
    outdated facilities

The breakfast selection was exceptional with ample choices.

The tv was outdated, too small for the room size.

    helpful staff
    beautiful river view
    frustrating parking situation

The staff were wonderful and accommodating, ensuring our family felt at home. Our Deluxe Double Room had a beautiful view of the River Severn, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also had a lovely breakfast that catered to everyone's tastes.

My wife says that the parking situation was frustrating for our large family. It would be great to have designated parking spots for families, as navigating tight spaces with kids can be quite challenging.

    good experience but small views

The staff provided a remarkably friendly welcome, assisting with parking upon arrival. The room offered good facilities and was comfortable for our two-night stay.

The view from the room was disappointing, overlooking extractor units.

    charming decor
    accommodating staff
    cozy atmosphere
    increased senior accessibility
    limited elevator access

The charming decor of the Lion & Pheasant reminded me of a cozy grandmother's attic, filled with delightful quirks. The staff were so accommodating, making it easy for my husband and me to enjoy the hotel's character.

More accessible facilities for seniors would be appreciated.

Had a great stay with friends! We loved the guided boat tours on the River Severn and relaxed at the lovely outdoor bar area in the evenings. Staff were friendly, and the ambiance was just right for our group.
